একই পরিবারের ৯ সদস্যের আত্মহত্যার সত্য ঘটনাকে কেন্দ্র করে নির্মিত হচ্ছে থ্রিলারধর্মী ওয়েব সিরিজ ‘চক্র’। মোট বিশ পর্বে নির্মিত হচ্ছে নির্মাতা ভিকি জাহেদের নতুন এ ওয়েব সিরিজটি।

নির্মাতা ভিকি জাহেদ ময়মনসিংহের এক পরিবারের ৯ সদস্যের একসঙ্গে আত্মহত্যার ঘটনা পর্দায় তুলে এনেছেন। সত্য ঘটনার ছায়ায় নির্মাণ করা সিরিজটির মুক্তি উপলক্ষে শনিবার (৫ অক্টোবর) এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনের আয়োজন করা হয়।

সংবাদ সম্মেলনে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ভিকি জাহেদ এবং চক্রের প্রধান দুই চরিত্র তৌসিফ মাহবুব ও তাসনিয়া ফারিণ। তারা ওয়েব সিরিজ চক্র নির্মাণের গল্প এবং নানা বাধার কথা তুলে ধরেন।

জানা যায়, 'চক্র' নির্মাণের ক্ষেত্রে এক সময়ের জনপ্রিয় ধারাবাহিক নাটক 'প্রেত' থেকে অনুপ্রেরণা পেয়েছেন নির্মাতা। ভিন্নধর্মী এই গল্পে অভিনয়ের অভিজ্ঞতা তুলে ধরেন কলাকুশলীরাও।

ওয়েব সিরিজটি প্রসঙ্গে নির্মাতা ভিকি বলেন, ‘একদিন সকালে পরিবারের ৯ সদস্য একসঙ্গে রেলস্টেশনে যান, আত্মহত্যার জন্য রেললাইনে বসে পড়েন। ঘটনা যত সহজে আমি বললাম, বিষয়টা অতো সহজ নয়। যখন আমি নিউজটি পড়ি, তখনই এ সত্য ঘটনা নিয়ে কিছু করার ইচ্ছা ছিল।’

ওয়েব সিরিজটি প্রসঙ্গে অভিনেতা তৌসিফ বলেন, ‘এ ওয়েব সিরিজে অভিনয় করতে অনেক অস্বাভাবিক বিষয় আমাদের সঙ্গে ঘটেছে। যার মধ্যে একটি আমি বলতে চাই। সেটি হলো, এ ওয়েব সিরিজের টিমে আমরা ৩০ থেকে ৪০ জন ছিলাম। যার মধ্যে ৪ জনই মারা যান এ ওয়েব সিরিজের শুটিং চলাকালীন দীর্ঘ সময়ে। যা আমাদের এখনও অবাক লাগে।’

তৌসিফের কথার সুরে সুর মিলিয়ে অভিনেত্রী তাসনিয়া ফারিণও একই অভিজ্ঞতার কথা বলেন। জানান, ‘এ ওয়েব সিরিজে কাজ করতে গিয়ে সবচেয়ে বেশি দুর্ভোগ, বিপত্তি ও দুর্ঘটনা ঘটেছে। তবে ভালো লাগছে, শেষ পর্যন্ত মুক্তির মিছিলে পৌঁছেছে আমাদের কাজটি।’

The upcoming thriller web series **"Chakra"** is shrouded in mystery, based on the tragic true story of the suicide of nine members of the same family. Directed by Vicky Zahed, the series spans 20 episodes and features prominent actors Tousif Mahbub and Tasnia Farin in the lead roles.

Vicky Zahed has adapted the disturbing real-life incident from Mymensingh, where an entire family took their lives together. The announcement was made at a press conference on Saturday, October 5, in anticipation of the series' release. During the event, the director and the two lead actors discussed the making of *Chakra* and the challenges they faced while bringing this chilling story to life.

Zahed revealed that he was inspired by the popular drama *Pret* while crafting the storyline of *Chakra*. He first came across the heartbreaking news of the family’s mass suicide, which left a deep impression on him, motivating him to create something based on the haunting incident. 

Actor Tousif Mahbub shared some of the eerie experiences during the filming of the series. He revealed that, out of a team of 30 to 40 people involved in the production, four crew members died during the lengthy shoot. This strange occurrence left everyone unsettled. Actress Tasnia Farin echoed these sentiments, describing the difficulties and accidents that plagued the production, but expressed her relief that the series has finally reached the point of release.

*Chakra* is expected to captivate audiences with its intense, emotionally charged story, offering a unique and dark take on a real event that shocked the nation.
